Dan, Have you ever tried an 18 or 30 year old bottle of Glenfiddich? Even better than Johnny Blue.

The 18 and older makes a difference...I will have to find some and give it a try. I am always open to new adventures Dan

I am a Makers Mark or Knob Creek person. I have never tried Old Grand Dad, but will have to add it to the shopping list.

I have tried knob creek and it is good but it misses that smoothness for better terms. My dad really did not drink but he said if you were going to then it should be Kentucky Bourbon...I'm good with that Dan

An excellent drink that is affordable! You need Bourbon to face those merskitters on the boundary waters. Patti and I used to go Crain Lake and Bemidji when we lived in MN. I was always thankful that they did not have a bag limit on how many mosquitoes you could shoot Dan

Just noticed Dan's name in blue. Now THAT'S what I'm talking about. It is so much easier now to see if he posts a new thread!
As far as bourbon or scotch... I'm more of a Tennessee Whiskey kind of guy. Gentleman Jack is great stuff. When I don't have that, I drink Don Julio.
