The place I am in has a second floor. I'll camp up there and launch marine raids for vital supplies as required.
Not really worried myself. Then again, my approach to major things like this is be prepared but don't sweat it.

You can only be so prepared for unfortunate occurrences. After that, being worried about bad things happening serves no purpose other than causing stress.
