it was a good, dry branch so it wouldn't just give under pressure. a sharp, fine, hard point.

i wish i had me a muk it would have been great for skinning deer, rabbit, ect. but i guess they out so o well

I hope you're right! I'd like to get my hands on one. And I bet I could think of a few folks in my family who would like a good deep-bellied knife for skinning.

MustardMan, kudos on the Physics PHD. I did undergrad courses in Physics
when I was working on my Comp Sci. Not much fun. Was actually pretty tough.
My hat's off to you and anyone who can go that route.

I had a couple of Nessmuk designed knives (by another maker), and really didn't
like the design that much. Sold them to my brother who loves the design.
So when I ordered the ScrapMuk, I figured that if I didn't like it, I could
always sell it to my brother.
The first time I used it, I was impressed. Each time since that I've used it,
I've become more and more impressed with it.
Just need Jeff to get my sheath to me and I'm set <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
