Great choice on V. Hugo Les Miserables, fantastic book and nearly everything one needs for advice. I would probably go with something longer. maybe not need it if i have a big chopper to help build my boat, read while resting then set sail?

I would probably have to take Robinson Crusoe, great read and a plethora of ways in which to thrive/survive while stranded. though he did have the ability to take much of the ships' stores for use.

Are there cannibals on said island?

I can ferment fruit and whatnot while there but some handy 'disinfectant' would be nice.

No cannibals- but for the fun of it- lets say an island full of Zombies. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

My only change would be that I bring my Ranger RD-9 instead of the A-1 - longer and better for killing zombies. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Zombies, hmmm, I'll still take the Battle Guard/Rat, its a 9 incher too. The more I think about it, the more it becomes my favorite knife.

Texas Mickey? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I don't know how it started, but growing up in New Brunswick, whenever we were referring to a bottle of booze that was 2 liters or more in size, it was always called a Texas Mickey. They even call it that in the Liqour stores.

Maybe it's got something to do with everything in Texas is big, including the bottles of alcohol! I'm just guessing here. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/loopy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

A regular beer here is 32oz, that is why I started lifting. It was hard to carry the 30 packs to the truck.

Lol, we really do have 30 packs and I understand they don't have those everywhere.

I think the AK47 is the ultimate Zombie slayer.

Enjoy every sandwich.
