i NEED a brown/ sage to match my nmsfno. I wanted a green handled blade, and thought about a black/black. before i saw the color combos i started backing away from my black/black thinking i just need to break out the mandu more often.

i suprised how good the brown looks with a variety of colors. the green handle looks green in all the shots except the one with the moss blade, there it looks tan. or am i just nutso?

my front runners are brown/ sage; green/black; and maybe (if i start drinking late some night) a black/grey or the brown/brown.

By the way, I can't make up my mind which ones I like the best, they all look so good and the knife seems to take on different personality depending on the combination. So I was curious what the black handle would look like on some other colors, and played around with a little photochopping... here are the crude results:

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've been lurking on the forum for a while now just waiting for the "release date." Like I said, I'm not new to scrap yard. My sterile scrapper 6 has been on my hip for the last 3 years. Recently got a yardhook to keep it company and a MUK to take up space in my safe.
Not sure if I'll use the (possibly 2 or 3) S5(s) but I can't pass up this one. I'm a sucker for mudder handles and the choice of colors is great.

Congrats to the JYDs on their 10000 posts. It's guys like you that keep the forum fun and informational.
