SR77 is fine with me, but if Scrap Yard switched totally to SR101, that would be ok with me, too. It just takes and holds a sharper edge, and with Busse's heat treat, it's tough enough for me. No complaints with SR77, but I like SR101 just a little better.

Yeah Sr77 is better for bigger blade that will take more abuse.
SR101 is nice for smaller blades that need to hold an edge for a while.

Show me the SR77 knife that's managed to accomplish that. The edge on the SR77 knife would be too dull to cut anything <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />. I agree with the smaller one being better with the SR101. Since you use 'em for finer work you want them to stay sharp for awhile! and yes the CT is sooo nice. So is the SOD. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
