Well I'm done, except for blowing the cuttings off the concrete. It's been a fun couple of days between yard work and varmint killing.

Too easy. The rabbit isn't bothering anything. Better save him for when I am hungry.

And this is what I'll use to skin him!

Time for an ice cold Pabst. Bring on that Scrapper 5! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

GOod pics Vic.

The debate over Sr77/Sr101 is simple.

SR77 IS a tougher steel. Jerry himself said so. Argue with the boss if you please. But he, moreso than any of us, knows...

Now, to what degree you think the average knife user/abuser can tell the difference between SR77/SR101 is up to the individual. And since we all use our blades for different things, that claim about "tough enough for most" is inconclusive, IMO. Perhaps so for you, perhaps not so for others.

I personally, like Sr77 more and think its edge retention is JUST FINE. Does it hold a good a edge as SY 154cm or SR101? No. As good as INFI in the same dept.? No. However, it is JUST AS tough as INFI in terms of lateral toughness, both of which ARE STRONGER than Sr101. The facts dont lie. Is SR101 a good steel? Of course. But saying they are equal or just as tough as one another is simply false.

I PERSONALLY KNOW that my S6 has stood up longer and better than my SR Mini Mojo (great knife) in the field when hacking through HARD wood and hitting the occasional nail or rock.

SR77 = Tough as balls.

SR101 = Holds a fantastic edge.

INFI = Holds a fantastic edge, and is tough as balls.

Enjoy every sandwich.

I think this sums it all up pretty well. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
