Jeremy does great work. That looks good. He wants to get out of the Busse modding business and asked me to start doing mods. I'll need some more equipment to turn out work that good. That hamon line looks awesome, CP. It's a beauty of a Ratweiler now!

HD he said in his forum that it was his last mod,not sure if he was serious. He is developing quite a following for his own designs.

He sent a pm to me about it over a month ago. I think he is serious. I am sure I could do it with the right equipment, but I don't know yet if I want to work that hard. On the other hand, I guess there is money to be made in modding Busses. I think Ban is doing his own knives now, so maybe an old man will have to do it. Somebody has to do it. There is always the Busse Custom Shop. That RW of yours is the prettiest one I've seen!
The equipment is just an investment HD. You have what the rest of us wish we had. Talent

I'm a hack. I don't even remove the scales to sand the flats like I should. I just leave them rough and buff them a bit. But flat sanding is easy. I've done it on Rangers, where the scales screw on and off. Been messing with the Outlaw today. Got a loooooong way to go.

I'll be covered in INFI dust tomorrow. Doing a full convex satin grind. Too cheap to buy the LE.

Drop on by. I have been out on the firing range a bit lately, so best call first. Got to get everything ready in case there's a revolution or something. I wouldn't want to miss it because of unzeroed rifles or dull knives!

Better to be prepared and not needed than be un-prepared and needed. Something like that! Anyway, I love the way we think around here!

Men you can't trust, women you can't trust, beasts you can't trust, but Bussekin steel you can trust

CP,

That is a GORGEOUS Ratweiler.... Satin is best!

Satin with a Temper Line is a VERY nice Bonus!

Satin with a nice Temper line and a good convex edge.....

JYD #39 I prefer "SATIN" blades!!!

Looking good Vic.

I have been wanting to strip my NMSFNO as well. But, add it to a pretty long list I have going. .... I still haven't bought any new belts for my old belt sander for quite some time as I STILL want to upgrade my belt sander and can't because I keep spending ALL and MORE of my availabe (and NOT available) cash on Busse and kin knives. - A good/bad thing depending on what part of me you ask.

It was SO awesome to be able to get a satin M9LE with a great satin finish and NOT have to freakin spend so much time trying to make it right and NOT have to spend $250 - $300 more for satin.... Heck, the entire M9LE knife "WITH" a satin finish costs LESS than just the upcharge alone on similar sized Busse blades.

I WISH Swamp Rat released more knives!!!!! ..... and I HOPE they keep releasing SATIN blades at reasonable prices!!!! .... I LOVE INFI, but SR-101 does EVERYTHING I need it to at a MUCH better price. Granted, I still would prefer INFI's corrosion resistance, but I am REALLY fine with SR-101.

.
