A Scrapyard Kukri:

14" blade, front weight heavy (As a proper kukri should), with a convex edge, made of either SR77 or INFI, with 5 or 6" comfortable Mudder grip handle.

That's what I would own! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

You got that right, gRat. I forgot to mention, but I wouldn't want the blade thickness to exceed 1/4", preferably keep it at 3/16".

I'd say a Battle Rat with a full height grind like my Battle Guard is??? but with the tang extending through the Res-C. Of course INFI would be a plus. Maybe a touch more blade height.

I'm pretty darn happy with the Battle Rat though.

light saber <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I have to go with this answer, as long as a "light saber" counts as a blade! If not, I'll take an original, signed Muramasa. His blades are legendary for being bloodthirsty and evil.

oh, another dream blade of mine is the 5' long, 1' broad sword with 2' handle and 1/4" stock. it's a giant tanto with one sharp edge and two large lightening holes near the grip.

think i'm gonna have to make that.

For a more serious answer, I don't think I have an ultimate knife - too many things to consider, and too many really cool shapes that do different things...

An INFI, Res-C handled, midsize chopper would have to be near the top of the list, though. And preferably not ridiculously thick. And none of this saber ground stuff - full flat or convex, thank ya very much.
