While I am satisfied with it, as it is a user, the proper way is to remove the scales and sand the flats. Then reattach the scales. As you can see, it is a far cry from the LE version or one of Ban's or Horton's jobs. I may have to invest in a few more tools if I ever decide to do this for others. The light is better now, so you can see the flaws. Still, it works for my purposes.
