Definitely a knife you could bet your life on. I'm sure your buddy will love it.

Good on you and your brother for this nice gesture. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

As many of you know, my brother and I are chipping in to buy a Swamp Rat M6 for a buddy of ours who's heading to A-Stan in a few weeks. It arrived today. This is a piece of quality gear. I almost wish I didn't have to give it away. The sheath was a bit tight when it arrived... very difficult to pull the knife out. I took out the kydex insert, left the knife in it, and heated it with a blow dryer. After a couple of minutes, it is perfect. It's still snug, which is good, but it's drawable now. Anyway, here's the obligatory pics, and 1 post closer to JYD for myself:

Well done...he is such a lucky man to have friends like you and your brother
