Dan we love the SOD but after reading the other thread I think it is kind of obvious that you will be making BIG bucks if you bring out a differentially temepered SR101 in 8 to 9inches blade! That sounds OK- but I would like to see Dan use some other steels. There are many great steels out there and would just like to see him mix it up a bit.Whether it is 77/ 101/154 INFI or something else I am in for a few. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Ya, a SOD with SR101 and no choil...that would be excellent.

I'm going get it for this one, but if it went all SR101 I wouldn't be sad at all.

Since I am new and just need to start getting some SY knives...I am up for anything really. But, I would really like a 7-9 inch SY and maybe even something in the 3-4" range as well. Well I'm gonna enjoy my new SOD (on the way). SOD in SR-77 sounds just about perfect to me right now <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I would definitely be a fan of a Scrap Yard replacement for the Camp Tramp in SR-101. Call it whatever you want, put that whacky squared choil in it if you want to brand it as being from the Yard, but gimme a decent sized camp knife without the ridiculous heft of a full-on chopper, and I will be a happy camper (literally!)

After the S5, I want a SR-77 sword! Something along the lines of the Busse AK.
