sucess! the quality is bad because it was taken with my cell phone. tomorrow i'll get a better shot with a few more angles. i plan on polishing the edge a bit more and will put it to use chopping up a neighbor's fallen tree.

thats a little bit better. polished up the edge with 600 wet/dry.

Nice work, Jac. As pretty as they are, it's what convex edges do that makes them worth putting on a knife. As you have found out, they improve cutting and chopping performance.

thanks for all the kind words everyone. I'm glad even after stripping it, you can still see the ghost image of the Scrapyard logo.

Nice job. I am planning to convex the majority of my blades this summer. It is inspiration like this that makes me think I "might" be able to pull it off.

I got a OKC machete and a British Golok that I can start on.
