really mag?
the LTC over an fbm?

if i was only allowed one knife, then it woulda been a bowie like the FBM. otherwise, i'll take a smaller straight blade and the best chopper i've ever used, the LTC.

FBM's pretty heavy too. Might go DFLE instead.

UH OH! Now ya gone and dun it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I used to like the trailmaster quite a lot - but I like the feel in hand of the M9 better. We'll see if I like it as much when I'm actually out using it.

My biggest complaint about the trailmaster is the same as my complaint about the LTC kukri - I am not a fan of kraton handles.

Mora - small and for general chores and finer cutting
Spyderco Military (S90V/CF) - folder clipped in pocket
DFCG - chopping and heavy cutting

Really depends on the terrain but these are my picks for now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
