Don't confuse SEED with FACTS y'all- he loves the FATTIES in SR77 . I could care less what it is as long as it performs- and 101 does just that.

ordawg1 and I think the same on this.

Men you can't trust, women you can't trust, beasts you can't trust, but Bussekin steel you can trust

Same here, I love that all the steels the Busse family uses are absolutely the best.

I have no worries about performance when it comes to the Busse Knife Group.

Why do you guys need steel in the guard??? Res-C is pretty firm. Do you have really sharp fingers and worried if you stab into something your hand will slide onto the blade???

I'm betting it'll be juuuuuuust fine the way it is.

Now Dan has to use the same handle and make a honkin-big (to fit that big handle) dagger. YEAHBABY! It's not a boot knife, it's a hip-wader knife!

Just because the Swamp tanked...
....
Hate the facts as you please, they remain the same.

Except, of course, that you are grossly ignorant of the facts.

The swamp just released the incredibly well reviewed M9LE, and one of the hottest and most coveted releases from all three Busse family companies at BLADE this weekend was the Swamp Rat Waki. Lots and lots of the little D2 EDC Vex blades got sold as well.

The Swamp is alive and well, and their fantastic SR101 steel is performing at an amazing level. Go watch the videos of the swamp waki in action if you don't believe it.

Tanked? The swamp is on a roll with some fantastic offerings!

Yes, the Swamp tanked for oh what a few years... how many knives did they put out compared to the Yard and BC? Ignorant? Please, spare me the MusTARD

Perhaps. But most of the Dogs would agree with your statement only in the chopper category. Other than choppers, the preference swings to SR101. And the smaller the knife, the bigger the swing. Check it out for yourself: Marketing Survey Results.

Never been one to follow trends. I prefer my tests

Yep. But Dan's running a business. And trends may matter to him.

Yup & I understand but I see it more from a practical/user POV. I just prefer SR-77 over SR101. But each to their own I guess.

I will say, Dan does a fine job indeed! And giving the chance will buy this new knife, it looks the goods.
SYKC will always be in my top 3 designs with first rate steel

As said before, everyone cannot be pleased 100% of the time, well, maybe the collectors & aftermarket sellers. So for me the S5 is not my cup of tea. If it had SR-77, maybe??? I'm not saying it isn't a great knife. All I'm saying is, I buy to be practical. So if I have something that's near & it's already working, why buy another. I know I'm too practical but when a man holds a Scrapper 6 or Dumpster Mutt in his hands you just know it cannot be topped that easily. So again I say, lets see the S6, DMCG & DFCG reintroduced. Now that's practical

The S6 is one hell of a knife for sure- but even better get yourself an S6LE as it is even better IMO. But- the S5s are just too nice not to buy a set. You are also correct on the DFCG- but once again try the DFLE and you " might" like it even better. But- we need give this Regualtor a shot as Dan has produced some really nice blades and I pretty much like ALL his stuff and for that matter the whole Bussekin line.I don't think there are too many of us that are practical or we wouldn't be here. Thanks
