I was supposed to pick up a second hand CT at BLADE this weekend, but I spent WAY too much the first day of the show and had to back out. I felt bad about it, but I would have felt worse about sleeping in a tent in the back yard. My philosophy was, I can probably find a second hand CT any time, but I'll never be able to buy a SR Vex at a hundred bucks again. And I was right - they are going for around 150 on the BF exchange now

Some of the discussion concerning the Regulator Bowie really amuses me! Not long ago everyone was crying for a new model and wondered about the Yard. Dan is now providing us Dogs with many to choose from, and there's STILL negativity toward a knife that most of us don't have yet! I for one am VERY anxious to get my hands on one, and I WILL provide honest feedback. Let's give Dan and the Regulator Bowie a chance! Have a nice day.

What's not to like? A comfortable handle with integral quillion, and a very sharp and needle pointed flat ground bowie blade of .33" thick differentially temperedd SR101 steel. It is fast, light and well balanced.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I wish I was allowed to really give my full impressions of this knife - it's a far better blade than I think some are giving it credit for. This could very well end up being one of my favorite knives, period. It's THAT good.

I think the whole point of Test Team for 6 months deal is so that the rest of us can drool over it. And then 6 months later we would end up buying at least a few each.
