Hello all..

As a newbie to SYK forum, I've learned alot by just lurking. Still got a long ways to go tho. You guys are a wealth of info. I like it. Wish I would have found you a couple years ago. I've bought myself and my boys a S5, and will need guidance on sheaths.. Anyways,, the Regulator is a nice sized knife for alot of different kinds of outdoor work. Of course I will probably need one of those also. Reminds me of when I found my favorite pistol. Hope to be a welcome addition to your site.

I think I'll past on this one, but I like the handle.

If they make a couple of pretty minor tweaks to this design, it will be an instant classic. It would be silly to pass on it

I just don't like the bowie blade design very much. Just a personal preference.

I agree with MM on the instant classic and it being regreted for passing on it.

The bowie blade design isn't a personal favorite of mine either, MAJORSDAD. But if you don't already own a big chunk of Res-C handled, diff-tempered SR101, I'd urge you to buy a Regulator anyway. They go together so well that it would be a real shame to miss out. And heaven only knows how much longer Dan will produce SR101 knives for Scrap Yard. As another JYD likes to say, buy now or you'll just kick yourself later.
Wow, the peer pressure is getting a little intense. Remind me never to go drinking with any of you guys.

No, I understand what everyone is saying, but there is only so much money to spend on the toys that I want. I just picked up a DMDC, have a S5CG on order and want a S5LE, only if it's INFI. Plus, if Dan would come out with a SY sword in SR77, I'd be set!
