I like the idea of the Regulator and will probably buy one when they are offered.

I really look forward to hearing comments from the test team as long as it's not all Kool-Aid.

I would rather have the following changes though:

- integral blade catches or at least integral steel guards top and bottom just in front of the grip, but I do really like the new grip design
- no taper to the tang
- blade thickness of 3/16".

Come on, bring me a "Skinny Hooked Regulator", please.

When SYCO offers anything, if I have the funds I'll buy it. The greatest part with this flawless technique is you never regret.

Im still trying to find out how the
test team was put together.
I must have missed the GO GO GO post or something.

Evidently, somehow, some of you have received this knife already.
I cant find anything in any post how this was arranged.
Was it a special purchase at Blade maybe?

You got it, Fu - the blade was available to inducted hogs, dogs, and rats at BLADE. We had to sign a form saying we wouldn't discuss or post pictures online for six months - which is really tough, because there's a lot I want to say about this knife!!!

I'm with Boots, at this point, being new here, I would pretty much buy any SY knife that is released and not think twice about it. Now, my wallet may think twice - If it could think (but then I would be in trouble).
