No, I understand what you and everyone is saying, and I definately like the that story off of the Blade Forums. Who knows, maybe if funds allow, I might just buy one to have diff-treated SR101 steel. I guess it's only money right, and you can't take it with you. But I could take my Scrap Yards without worry. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

The big difference between SR101 and SR77 is edge-holding. Would featherstone have been able to extract himself from the Jeep with a SoD? Probably. But chances are, we'll never know. I just don't like the bowie blade design very much. Just a personal preference. The bowie blade design isn't a personal favorite of mine either, MAJORSDAD. But if you don't already own a big chunk of Res-C handled, diff-tempered SR101, I'd urge you to buy a Regulator anyway. They go together so well that it would be a real shame to miss out. And heaven only knows how much longer Dan will produce SR101 knives for Scrap Yard. As another JYD likes to say, buy now or you'll just kick yourself later. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Wow, the peer pressure is getting a little intense. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Remind me never to go drinking with any of you guys.
