I must be nuts, I generally don't like knives with blades between 6 and 8 inches. I generally don't like non-traditional bowies (love traditional ones) I generally don't like overly thick blades (love my original DM)
And yet I had to have this knife, and just can't wait till mine arrives (I am on the test team) For my it appears as if the sum is greater then the total of it's parts I can't wait to try it out

Design notwithstanding, there's something to be said for diff-hardened SR101. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
They recently released the (Test Team Edition) Regulator Bowie which was very limited. Basicly everyone who got in on the Test Team Edition has 6 months to put the knife threw it's paces and see if anything needs to be changed or improved and we submit our reviews to Dan and no one else and he makes the final decision on what happens to it. So in 6 Months or so the Regualtor Bowie should be available for purchase..
