Its kinda like a fancy new type of forum. you make a profile and post what you are doing. You can add people you know to your friends and others you don't know can add you and follow what you are up to.
Its a cool new way to keep track of what your friends are doing or what there mood is. You should check it out and give it a try.

basically, one can post constant updates of their lives.
- right now i'm chewing bread
- i just walked to the kitchen
- opening a beer
- putting beer down
- walking to the living room
- i just stopped and thought about birds
etc etc etc
employers hate it, thee is already worklace bans of twitter and facebook in some places
