If they are sub-300, I'll probably try to buy two. Over 300 and I'll likely limit myself to one.

I'd be scared to beat on any other sword besides Bussekin swords the way we do, we put it under tremendous force and we trust that it won't fail. I would never test any other sword this way. For what it is, it's light and fast too. i would agree with you if i didn't have a tarwar. it would also take those trees down faster. i love that sword. unfortunately, it's heavy. the rat will feel like a feather in comparison. if i can get a hold of the rat waki, i'll post a comparison thread for sure.

yeah, I haven't handled the tarwar, but every other HI khuk I've feels indestructible, but I think most swords can't touch the AK/Ruck in terms of size/length/weight, not even those crazy expensive custom ones, but then again, they aren't designed for chopping hard wood, more like heads.

I can wait for the Scrap Yard version. I don't know how I can carry a sword without slicing myself to bits <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

That is a nice blade, pretty tough too. I would like to see a scrapyard version made with SR-77.

Don't forget my BRKT Northwinds. They held up pretty well against Ban's HK and I abused it pretty well at the chop off. They are tough little swords.

with the pack on? that is manly. i see you had the tarwar strapped to the pack, too. the waki woulda lightened that load considerably.
they are so different that i feel it is good to have both for variety. i'd rather have a northwind if i had to choose. those are probably my three most desired swords.
ted, hook it up with the northwind pics and that amazing sheath.
