Thanks MM and thanks Tom....that big bowie MOAB is a beauty...but remember that I only got the little one three knives down...hell...that was dear enough...although if I was truly minted the MOAB would be very tempting! My only issue with these is I saw Drew wearing his at Knob Creek and it is truly like carrying a sword...it is "Cutlass" size on your hip!

I understood your post Pete. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I was just commenting on the MOAB - Mother Of All Bowies! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

They still had a few of the sledge left - check out the ganzaa if you want one

Did you happen to notice the price on the Sledgehammers MM ?

No idea - it was a lot more than I was willing to pay, I know that. The Tequila Sunrise handles are pretty hot, though.

I think previous prices advised by Jerry for the thick .42 MOAB's were $2100? This is off the top of my head from memory but there were figures given over on B/F when Jerry first showed them....

Yikes.....you may be right there Bob....maybe for that particular one....if they do other nuclear Khukri's then perhaps less than half this? The Test Team price is $695 or so it has been posted...I understand though that those sold at blade were slightly discounted...probably around $650 maybe...no one knows for sure as those who purchased are not allowed to say. That would have a nuclear model at say $995 max I would have thought. The "induction" knife though may go for a lot more....

If it is anything like the last ganza- I had about 6 grand in purchases and was a " bit" late on the " go-go-go" . I didn't get one [censored] knife <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />. Jimmie was right there with me and didn't score either <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />. Next ganza I am going to be faster <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Hey Bob...I understand from Jimmie's post on the Death Chat that both you and he managed to score very well through a proxy!! Well done mate!!

Ganza's are not easy for me...the time line for my e-mails and the sheer "middle of the night" over here mean I am bound to be slow. I spoke to Jerry though and there may be some hope <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

My take from Blade 2009.

This nifty little slicer from Swamp Rat is called the Vexer or some such. It is in D2. I even found a sheath for it at the show. My neighbor gets this for watching my house for me. He is a big hunter so I think he'll like it.

Got me a ZT folder for a nice price. It's a second.

All I could find wrong was some discoloration. It works perfectly and isn't nearly as heavy as it looks. Great knife. I prefer folders in the smaller blades.

Got this Condor Golok. No sheaths, though.

Check out the distal taper on the blade:

Got a Condor Bushcrafter, too. These were cheap.

Well that's about it except for the Test Team stuff. Blade was a blast. Free beer and food thanks to Jerry and Dan last night.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Hey Peter- Yup- Jimmie got tired of me bitchin so he got me a full set of the Vex- and some we can't talk about <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />. I think he also picked up a bunch of others- but with Jimmie he likes to keep me guessing <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />!! I have so much steel at his house that might as well move in. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Ganza is a blast- I just don't do worth a [censored] <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />. Maybe we will all hit big on this one !! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

My total haul of "keepers" was 9 blades - NMSFNO, SOD, SR Vex, 2 High Streets (orange/black and blue/black), a mud puppy, and three I'm not allowed to talk about <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I also got a Satin/black Bird Dog for a proxy, and a SOD that will end up with someone from the Yard, although I'm not sure who yet.
