I'm pretty sure there were some DF's at the Knob Creek show a little while back, so there is at least potential for them to show up at places. I believe they were all bought up within seconds of the show opening.

I'd much rather have a battle mistress with a res-C handle, personally

I wonder if they would fit res c handles to INFI knives in the custom shop? Hmmmmmmm....

If you pay the bucks- you can get just about anything . And- once you start having customs done ( or mods) - it is REALLLY addictive and you will NEVER be the same -Thanks

Best just pick one up. I have 3 - 2 in CG and one LE. The LE is absolutely awesome!!

Have a couple of each. The LE is really incredible but the CG is a crazy chopper.

The laws of supply and demand suck when the SYKs don't have a limit on purchases so's others can get ownership of a DF without paying the secondary market upcharges!!! That's life as we know it...

I am going to wait for Dan's next production run rather than get pummeled in the secondary market and have less money for more knives. The wait will be worth it, although I will be lacking a big chopper until that time.

Not to mention that if I buy on the secondary market I am not investing in the company, and I want to give my money to SYK to show my appreciation and do my part to fuel new product development.

I hope Dan does come out with a re-release of a DF that way I can get a CG, but if we want a LE then we will have to play the secondary market.

So is the CG really that better of a chopper than the LE? On the SOD I found I liked the LE better than the CG.

Says who? Why are you so sure there won't be another run of LE's (because you don't want one)? I'm guessing you already have an LE. By the way I'm gunnin' for an LE.

LE stands for limited edition - wouldn't be very limited if they made more every time we demanded them

Yup, that is why I said that. And no, I don't have a DF LE. I do have a SOD LE and love it. The DF is what made me find the SY in the first place. I am kinda feeling a little badbecause I have not got one yet, but several others including a few Swamp Rats. At least they are in the same family, and I will add a Busse someday.
