Yah I would love the Waki it is much less than the $600-$1k to get the Busse AK. But Silly things like rent and food and general living expenses get in the way and all in all I am ok with that.

All the above reasons plus my general self-imposed guideline to buy Scrap Yard and no other fixed blades has me all twisted around the axle. It would be a very nice chopper to have, but I suppose we all have to have our rules, boundaries and limitations (to use Dog Whisperer lingo).

Well I look at it like this, I have 8-12 weeks to save, knowing the busse timeline it will be more like 12 weeks, that means I need to get a piggy bank and throw $30.00 a week in it, if I stay religious with this and hold off on buying other stuff then I will be okay. I just have to keep my eye on the prize here and avoid the Bark River site or other companies that have blades readily available. Hopefully the wife takes notice and gives me some money to put towards it for fathers day and I will be okay. Thank God it is a pre release like this, if it was the way they used to do it and list them in the store there is no way I have that kind of disposable money lying around

congrats, what combo did you order. I have to say though that one of the coolest things about collecting knives like this is I always feel like a child at Christmas, waiting for the package to arrive whether it be a knife or a sheath.
