Pretty hiking country, MR Pink. The SOD makes a good choice for a light carrying knife that can chop. Nice pics.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Nice pics MRpink. I went to UC Santa Cruz, go banana slugs!
Did you chop any? Those things are huge. I miss that place, great atmosphere.

I like choppers, just had to clear a tree branch out of the road at Mingo NWR last week, using the bottom knife (a UC Lainhart machate) in my post on the Knives in a pile thread. A Dog Father would have been MUCH nicer to use and would have I think chopped better as well!

Wish I had a SoD ...and the woodlands to match. Love to see the Sod in living color. Thanks

Pinky, yeah it's pretty big, if memory serves (at my age it probably don't!) it's about 9 1/2 to 9/34 inches long and around 3 inches or so at it's widest. I'll try and get measurements later and post them for ya. As you can see, it's battle scarred. Makes a GREAT shovel too! With it's size and weight it does bite pretty deep. BUT, it's cm154 (memory thing again, it DOES have 154 in it)and it's not a 9 1/2 inch Scrap Yard Dog Father!!!!
