I received a package from Jeff yesterday. I think he did a GREAT job on this white python dangler sheath for my arctic white Straight-Handled Battle Mistress. I couldn't imagine getting a better fit and as to finish, you can judge that for yourself:

Steel Fan (Peter) has mentioned a couple times how close my SHBM felt in weight and balance to a DFLE. I decided to pull out one of my tan DFs and photograph them side-by side; I was surprised at how close they really were. I knew that it was much lighter than any of my Fusion Battle Mistresses, but it has the same thickness, grind, and width as a DFLE. Tying in with the "Ideal weight for a Large Knife?" discussion, you can see why I posted it as my "Your ultimate knife" nominee.

You're welcome, Joe. Based on you signature line, I thought you might be interested in seeing the SHBM along side a CG FBM (in this case, a Military Overrun [#72] from the 2008 Cupidganza):

Also, thanks for the comments about my sheath and knives. These are some of my collection's best, and it's good to hear comments other than, "You paid how much?"

No problem! Although I'm sure what you hear the most is, "You bought HOW MANY?" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Thank you for the side-by-side, I now want one even more... I think I'll have Jeff put some rattle snake in my sheath for it, so thanks for the idea! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Masterpieces. Is that real white python skin? What a combo!
That is a VERY impressive setup Jim, one of a kind.
