Busse has already done a series of blades in a similar style to the waki - check out the AK, AK-47, and Ruck. Borrowing a pic from a Bladeforums thread....

Yeah but no Tanto knife style as far as I know - and no Katana sized blade either - I thought the AKs and Rucks were pretty much Waki sized within an inch or two.

I stand corrected.
Didn't know about that one, but you (and Google) have taught me just a little bit more Busse lore.

Tnx

I like the sound of a Golok, and would certainly pick one up if offered, but REALLY like the sound of the Ulu. I bought one in Alaska about a year ago and use it quite a bit in the kitchen for chopping herbs. With a Res-C handle....I'd be all over one if SYKCO made it

you can call me digs

Now that's what I want to hear - the Scrap Muk was such an unusual design, and got such rave reviews, that a Scrap Ulu is a natural blade to follow it. Bring on the ULU!!

- a full sized RES-C handle, with a STUBBY wharncliffe blade!

- as i mentioned before - take all the scraps and make beer openers, mini pry bars, mini keychain blades, etc etc etc

- a folder, called the DogBone. 1/8" thick SR77 sides slabbed with Res C, with a liner lock, 1/4" blade in three styles (wharnie, bullnose, and recurve), 1/2" thick pivot bolt, and allen bolts to secure it all together.

- nuther round of challange coins, cut from 1/4" SR77, or SR101, deeply stamped with a number and SY logo, and a hollow riveted hole for a neck lanyard. Tumbled and then coated.

- a necker, 1/4" with THIN RES-C grips, total length about 7" with a 3" blade, again,in wharnie, bullnose and recurve, with a thumb ramp. Butt of knife MUST have a beer opener
