You guys are gonna love those M9s - one of my favorite blades in any size at the moment.

i know, it is gorgeous. It is funny, up until paying for it the waiting is hard but now that it has shipped the waiting is even worse now, [censored] <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

The appearance ain't even the half of it - it's so light and nimble in the hand that it's effortless to swing. A brilliant slasher, brush clearer, kudzu destroyer and log splitter, and it's still a capable chopper.

I could easily make fuzz sticks after cutting down green oak trees, doing a chopoff on more oak, and batoning through hard seasoned birch, directly into rocky ground.

Did I mention I love my M9????

The M9LE reminds me a lot of a dressed up version of the DFLE. It handles really well for a big knife.

in all probability you will regret not getting one, more than you would regret actually getting one. That said you could always sell it if it turns out you don't like it or needed the money imho.

well the way I see it is that unless you baton with it the coating will hold up, that and a used one should at least get you face value in return where as the pristine condition ones will turn a good mark up. My dad used to be into leather working big time and made some beautiful stuff. Unfortunately, he is so crippled up with arthritis that he can no longer do it. I wish I have some of his skill as I would attempt my own but I know my skills and by the time I ruin some leather it would be cheaper to have a master make it.

I don't know what I would actually DO with another waki... I use every knife I own, so I don't see myself having two wakis without using them both. What am I gonna do, swing one in each hand? Use one for cutting trees down while the other is sent off to Vic to be re-sharpened after I chop up a bicycle with it??

The Waki gonna be the most expensive blade so far. IF... Im not lucky and don´t have to pay taxes. Sometimes that happends.

I know I´m gonna like the Waki and enjoy it alot.
