If the club could just define what the term "sword" represents, maybe you could improve official membership.

MRpink and Simon have already come up with some great renditions for Dan to work with.

Here's some links:

So, CruelRaoul, are you in?

I'll come on along for that. But only if we all agree that any new SY sword should be a cutlass.

What is a cutlass?

Something like this:

I like the name someone here gave it, should SY make one. The Sea Dog.

The one above is a CS version.

I don't know if I'm up for a cutlass look. I was thinking something more like the AK or WAKI but with a longer Resiprene C handle.

Res-c would be awesome on a sword!
I don't think anything like that has been done before.

Hey, they're pretty amazing swords for being sharpened tooth picks. Plus, it's got to be light enough to be able to be used effectively and if it’s too big, that's just going to run the price higher. The renditions that MRpink has come up with are just what I'm looking for.

MAJORSDAD: I wasnīt totaly serious about AK and Waki being tooth picks

A DFLE but twice the lenght and a bit longer handle with same shape as the one on the Regulator and Iīm a happy Swede

Then I can join my nephews and invade England! LOL

LOL!

My only concern with a sword with DFLE thickness and width is that it would be heavier than I would want. Scrapyard might be able to get away with a little heavier blade due to RES C being lighter than G10 or micarta but I wouldn't want it to much heavier.

Iīm used to big "toys" so I donīt think I would have any problems with being heavy. The big smile in my face while I swing the sword will make me forget about the weight

A DFCG twice the lenght and make it 0.20" thick? Wouldnīt be to heavy.

Canīt wait to test the Waki.

What ever SYCKO will realease Iīll buy it if itīs bigger than the Dogfather

I know you were just kidding about AK and Waki. I just like the style to those two swords but want a longer Res-C handle. I guess what you're describing isn't too out of bounds. Just a long as it isn't any longer than 20" and not overly heavy, it would be okay.

As far as invading England, that wouldn't be very difficult these days being that their government and some of the people have turned into sheeple.
