Jim, I had no idea you were Jaxx until I saw this thread over on BFs, although I should have made the connection, haha.

Most GWs I've handled are a little to thick for neck carry. However, The skeleton warden would make an awesome necker. Nice score on the BAD, I'll keep my eyes out for a good deal on a green linen and make a few phone calls to the local hogs.

I think the GW and AD are perfect for horizontal belt carry.

I'm not a big fan of the GW either but I actually do kind of like that one.

It's a VetDayaganza (page 10) Hammered GW and is quite substantial. I was tempted by a thinner GW at the last Knob Creek -- it was in Bama Clay with tan Micarta. Jeff Law considered a fatty GW -- I think it was green with black Micarta. I bet Jeff would like this one -- it's thick, but very pointy due to the swedge. It's also hollow ground, so it'll slice better than most thick little knives. As a collector, I'm not a big GW fan; I felt that they were over-produced. However, I like this variant a lot and am very happy to have finally acquired one.

Well done

Congrats. I like the two I have. Only thing is, my SS4 is bigger, yet weighs less!

That is the nicest GW I have seen Jim A bit like you though I like the extra length on the BAD...although over all I think on an Infi small knife I like the Tanker A the best...did you ever pick up one of these?

Your above GW with the same blade just slightly longer at 4.5 inches though would be a hell of a knife for me....I love a sharpened clip on a knife this size!

I don't have a Tanker; that release was before I started collecting Bussekin, and secondary prices for "old school" SH models are too rich for me -- the only way I can even pretend they're investments is if prices haven't stabilized at their peak, and I think those have. Did I read that Jerry's planning a larger Tanker-inspired release, or was I mistaken?
