Ban is not doing any mods or knifemaking right now. He said he is really having to concentrate on work and family right now. The mods I have seen of HDs are knives ANYBODY would be lucky to have.

To get it done right, and still keep your warranty, The Busse Custom Shop is the way to go. I mod mine for my own use, and I do convex edges for folks who want them, but to get a professionally done full convex grind, I'd contact Busse.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

What is the advantage of the convex grind? It is stronger than a hollow grind or flat grind. It is good for chopping especially, but it works well for all types of cutting. The curved shape penetrates with less resistance to the medium than a sharp bevel edge. Think of the shape of a modern rifle bullet. That is the cross sectional shape of a convex grind. If done right, it chops unbelievably well. The Busse competition editions, Fallkniven, and most Bark Rivers use the convex grind.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
