For 287 bucks, I'm at least slightly tempted... not convinced, but tempted.

I haven't checked BF yet, but if that is indeed the price then I am REALLY tempted!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> Oh man, how am I going to explain THIS ONE to my wife? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Heehee....surely you're well practised by now Tom! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

You sure would think so!!!. His wife is so sweet I'm sure he gets away with a bunch <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

You guys don't do the sneak sometimes? Buy knives and guns that are similar? Not me always...but sometimes. Just easier.

Now if money was no object, it wouldn't be a problem.

I like it. A lot. I like curves/waves.
Love the grind.

And I love the fact that satin and DC finishes are available for the CGs again. I really hope those finishes remain for future offerings.

A spearpoint option would push me waaaay over into gotta have.
But I'd have to admit I'm a bit "queer" for spearpoints, (love the SHE and BME blade shapes).

I'm strongly tempted, but then again there's the LE Waki, and I guess at some point the 'Zilla, so I'm not sure if I'll go for it or not, 'specially since I have a few S5s on the way, which are roughly the same class, size wise.

Full specs, colours and options: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=656955

For the CG base specs are:
Tank Buster Combat Grade $287.00

Specifications:

Thickness: Coated Blades = Approx. .250 (1/4")
Thickness: Satin Finished & Double Cut Blades = .220"
Blade Length: 6"
Overall Length: 11.5"
Steel: INFI
Bevel: High Sabre ground with convex edge.

Cutting Edge Length:
With Choil: 5 7/8"
Without Choil: 6 3/8"

I think I will go for one - It'll be my first Busse Combat knife. How long will they stay up on the store for purchase? Are they using a similar sales model as SYKCO?

The HG55, which is on there now, has been there for months. I HOPE they keep the tank buster up for a similar amount of time - I'd like some more time to decide whether I want one (and come up with the money!)
