Okay, so I was hardly expecting it to arrive this early, but hey, who's complaining, right?

Actually I was in the shower when the dog started going crazy. I had a head full of shampoo, and the doorbell was ringing. Knowing I was expecting a package or two, and that my deliverers don't play around when they come calling (they don't leave packages un-signed for), I sprinted soaking wet from the shower, clad in a towel, tripped over the dog, carpet burned my knee, and arrived at the door just as my mailperson was walking off the porch.

Yes...the familiar red, white, and blue box.

Man tries to rob hotel with a butter knife

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Police arrested a man they said tried to rob a hotel around 6 p.m. on Sunday with a butter knife. The clerk refused to give the man any money, and he left the hotel on foot. Police said about an hour later they spotted a man matching the description given by the clerk.

Officers arrested a 34-year-old man on a robbery charge. They said they also recovered the knife.
