The Scar is okay looking, but I haven't handled one yet. I agree on the price though. Ouch! I like some of the piston driven uppers that have come out lately. Especially, the HK version. Very cool! Here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGwkHktkTxU I shot a 416 and a LW piston upper 2 weekends ago (full auto natch <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />) and they were both very nice. Honestly, I haven't had any reliability issues with my DI AR's, so I'm almost loathe to change at the price difference between piston & DI uppers. For the most part, my DI ARs have been okay, but not as reliable as any of my AKs. I also like the easy of cleaning on the piston driven uppers.
