Well... I wonder if Patti would throttle me if I asked her if I could hold off on the Scrapper6, since they appear to be very similar in size and function! This is a HOT looking knife! If you drop it, could you give it to me if they doesn't have Scrapper 6 anymore! If you want, of course. I ordered one very tardily and I'm not sure if they could have one for me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

If Dan does what he's done in the past, he'll give the Yard a 24-48 hour heads-up before he releases the new model. I've asked him in another post if he's going to do that and he hasn't responded yet. But I can't think of a single reason why he wouldn't. Well aware of that. However, the issue is that I work every other Saturday, and would hate to miss out.

Im not too good at naming stuff but when i saw the new knife the name " Breaker " poped in my head. If u think about it the knife is designed for breaching heavy doors and such. " ScrapYard Breaker ".

It'd be nice if metal tang extended out the back past the handle.. -for hammering/batoning from the back -skull crusher pommel -more rear weight for balance -lanyard hole that doesn't interfere with handle

...We mated them with a door-breaching blade that our troops have been dreaming of and put a penetrator tip on this nearly 5/16" thick sabre ground blade. This combat hungry little pit bull will soon be available at a great price! Dan Dan you are the best, I love the penetrator tip, in my opnion just about every knife should have a tip like that. 5 inches is a good working size for a blade. And I assume it is SR-77 best choice in my opnion. Now my one important question: which Basic handel size is it? the handel from the B3s and B5s or did you go bigger with the one that was on the B7s and B9s? For thoes of you who have no idea what I am talking about. http://homepage.mac.com/zombiekiller/badmojo/basic.htmlIt is about mid page. And my vote for a name is either Horn Dog's "War Dog" or my idea the "Door Dog" you know "The Doubble 'D' from SYRC"
