They woosed it all out now with weight classes, gloves, etc. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Not that I would do it, but still. You have to have some rules, or no one would do it. It's as close to real fighting as you're going to get. Unless you go to local bar. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Actually if you watch the first several UFC fights they had only two rules...No eye gouging and no biting. There were no weight classes, no time limits and no gloves....Just Mano a mano <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I remember seeing some of the first fights and they were great, but like I said, if there were no rules who would really want to fight? I wouldn't want to get kicked in the nuts. They added some rules to appease the antis and bring more people into the sport. It's all about money.

I love UFC/MMA! here are my predictions for 100:
Lesnar/Mir: Mir. He's got the skills that Lesnar doesn't. Might go over 3 rounds. Lesnar has alot of power but I think he's overhyped.
GSP/Alves: GSP. I just don't see anyone beating GSP right now, the guy is untouchable.
Hendo/Bisping: Bisping if he can keep it standing. But I think this one could go either way, and it's Hendo's if it's a takedown competition. I'll root for Bisping.
I won't be able to watch it as I'll be on my way home from Spain that night, but I'll definitely catch the fights the next morning. Brock is a little over hyped, but he's got power, and he's build like a tank. You're right, GSP is the man! Enough said. As far as the other fighters, I don't know enough about them to make a call. I'm hoping it will be a great fight!
