I never partied with Pantera, but my brother did. I've partied with the Melvins, the CroMags, Voivod, and Lita Ford. She was really cool. Sadly, I didn't even realize who I was hanging out with, until I left and heard her on the radio. Then I wanted to jump out the window for not trying to get her number. That was at the Rainbow Bar and Grill in Hollywood. Big musician hangout. At least it was 20 years ago.

The guitarist for Death used to live down the street from me. The vocalist for Deicide used to work at Ace records in Tampa when I lived there... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> The band in the B&W photo...we used to rehearse in this old mill building that was sublet as studio space. One of the bands down the hall was Toxic Popsicle. The singer/bassist for that band was Robert Sledge, a friend of mine who went on to be the bassist for the Ben Folds Five...

Nice Pitbull..I played bass in a few punk bands growing up. Gigged around some, but never anything big. I still work in the industry , but mainly in Jazz now.
I see you cited Janes....I got a chance to hang with then a bit, as I have a friend who plays in a current band with Stephen Perkins. That guy is a monster drummer still.

They existed before I joined, hence they had that name...if I were naming the band, it wouldn't be that....:P The other bands were Society's Child (again, I didn't pick that) and Alexis Machine.
