I was suppose to catch that fight with Ban at the Vietnamese Coffee shops around here (a lot of cute girls working), but they called me into work from 2-10pm and I took it because I need the money. Guess I'll just have to catch it online...

Yeah, it kind of came that way from the factory. The knife is beefier then your standard mora and has a secondary convex bevel, of course I touched it up a bit.

It's still a nice slicer, but a true flat, zero edge? scandi makes better bushcraft knife, it just slices wood better in my opinion, but this is definitely a stronger edge.

i like my mora but it just rusts too [censored] easy...the M2K sees daily use its my food prep knife from onions to bagels to everything.

id use my M9 but my ol lady thinks it will poison us...

yeah...it's going to be tough. if you don't feel like paying for pay per view, my friends always find links that actually work. PM if you don't end up catching the fights.

how's rust been on your m9? i hear it rusts if you look at it wrong, haha. my s5 has been good so far.

no word on your S5 yet huh?

my handle on the M9 seemed to catch the most oxidization but was easy to clean off with an oil rag or Tufcloth...the business end was ok since it saw daily use. i wouldnt mind somehow coating the handle part and leave the blade alone.

i got my s5 today!!!! im stoked on it....except for its a bit blade heavy for me so im gonna play with it for a little while...if it doesnt feel right im gonna have to be without it. makes me sad i missed the MUK! that was an awesome release! ill play it by ear

The only other knife I have in this length is the DMCG, which is insanely thick and heavy in the front, so the S5 feels just right to me. But yes, the balance is more in the choil.

You could always send it off to get modded, have like HD fully convex it, should bring the balance back towards the center/back. There's a lot of steel in the saber grind. We'll see how the LE is, but there's possibility of a full flat grind, which is much lighter, although I do like the saber grind myself.

Alright, I'm out for the night, need to finish laundry and hit the sack. Need to wake up early to swim and head out for a long day at work...enjoy the fight if you catch it!

A full flat would do more to convince me to buy a S5LE than making it from INFI. I love me a full flat grind.

I'm bummed that I had to break down and put some knives on bladeforums. Hopefully I priced them high enough that they won't sell

If they do sell at these prices, it won't make me feel so bad about having to give them up.

MM, I agree on the full flat.

I would love to see the LE in full flat. As a bonus that won't happen round out the choil and lose the thumb ramp.
