Dude, I'm in the market for nice head phones. I want the best....for under 300 bucks anyway...
I am looking at these Able Planet noise canceling ones, Monster Beats (I don't like em, but all my guys at work like em'), and 200 dollar sony noise cancelers..
What do you think?
please don't buy those. AKG K701, Grado SR225i (probably my next purchase) or 325i, Sennheiser HD 595 or 600, beyerdynamic DT880. what do you want from them? this is the deciding factor. you'll need to amp some of the above.

equation audio rp21's.... i'm just saying that i've gotten these to some pro's and they loved em. i use these myself and i have been through quite a few.
i didn't like the beats by dre headphones. to much hype all across the frequencies. they will wear you down over time and your music will sound different. also when you take the hones off you will notice that the room sounds different. you ears have muscles that get tired just like any other muscle. they respond to protect your nerves.

what headphones are you listening to now? what do you listen to with them? if you want senns then look at the 595 and 555. i have to say i'm blown away by my new AT's, far better than i expected. i bought them refurbished for $54 shipped. i can send you a link if you're not dead set on blowin three bills. your source will matter too. if your listening to mp3's sampled below 200kb/s, there's no point paying that much for those headphones. they also need to be properly powered, where most mainstream electronics fall short to keep price down and features up (iPod).

I have sure se-210 earbuds. That's it. I listen to my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system on my computer, but I can't really crank them ever, without pissing people off.. Mainly, I want good headphone for my laptop. I listen to seriously everything out there except modern country. Yeah, all my stuff is mostly mp3..mostly around 128kb/s. I would rather not spend 300 bucks lol... I'm not set on anything, really. I think you know what you're doing so I'm open.
Enjoy every sandwich.

okay, i'm going to recommend alessandro ms-1, or the phones i just bought. http://www.buydig.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=ATHES7BKRBfor years i was happy with only a Koss PortaPro. i had the Koss KTX-Pro when i was a kid, never knowing how acclaimed my headphones were but loving them passionately and hating all other phones. the day they died, i was heart broken. so, i say get yourself a portapro, the AT's, and the 21's lazi recommended. still less than $200 total if you shop around and you'll have a variety of flavors.

Sweet, thanks. I like the fact that the ones you have are made in Japan. I don't like to support the huge made in china market... How were the condition of the refurbished ones you got?
Enjoy every sandwich.
