i'm just bustin, but ebay's mostly small, private businesses and i was unhappy with the service i was getting at that huge store. they were packed anyway so i'm no major loss. pretty sure i purchased from a smaller dealer.

nah man i get it but i have been on both sides and as much as i'd rather deal locally it gets harder and harder. jsut would like to keep my job since i'm good at it even though people may not care. well that is until they have a problem...

it's my pikal (reverse edge), 5/32" A2 steel, black linen micarta, 7" overall, 3" blade, and convex grind.

it's not complete yet. i'm still not happy with the way the handle feels in my hands, it's still a bit blocky, but I've inhaled enough micarta dust for one day.

haha, i use a respirator, probably time to change the filters though.

if I had to pick one steel to be my favorite, taking everything into account, i'd say A2. i order mines from KBC Tools: http://www.kbctools.com/ it's about $22 5/32", 1.5" wide, and 18" long.

they have a location in hayward (that's where I pick mines up) and another in LA, they ship too.

be back, time to hit the shower.
