bearded. like the axe bit has a beard, same as a man's.

that's a nice one! I might have to order one from ragweedforge...wonder how the 410 steel is. Looks like it's mainly a stainless steel used for folder liners.

or I might pick up a CS trail hawk like I originally wanted and do some mods.

I got a CS Trailhawk too that will get some mods in the near future. I also have picked up one of the SOG hawks and to be honest it is a great chopper for the size and weight. The ATC Laguna, well not a chopper but it was not meant to chop wood, just bones and flesh!

I love those Korean War Wool shirts. Wear one anytime the temp drops a little. As cool as it has been here in July, I may need it real soon. I met a lady who was selling them for $5.00 at a flea market. I bought 20 and turned my friends onto them. Still got a couple pristine ones. She only had L. Fit perfectly. Nice axe/hatchet. I really really like it alot.

In OK you don't need anything like that in the summer. However, once I was prarie dog shooting in the panhandle and the morning was very cool--like in the 50's. Needless to say I ahd taken my jacket out of the truck because it was summer. Never again, a jacket rides everywhere now. I know the pd's were laughing when that morning started and all I had was a GI poncho, of course no liner, to keep me warm--that was until I started getting those suckers for laughing at me

I really like them too. Wish I could find a more roomy 2XL one. I have 2-3 of them. One is the older style buttons, the others are newer BDU style buttons. One is dated 1952 inside. Not many people wear clothing older than their parents.

The axe is a Swamp Rat Crash Axe (made of SR-77). You can see more pics here: Crash Axe

And video here: Horizon Hood Crash Axe Test
