Since my fiance and I got sick, we've been chugging bottles of gatorade to stay hydrated and keep our electrolytes up (she insisted on the gatorade, and when you're planning to marry a nurse, you take her advice when it comes to health).

Naturally, I've been saving the bottles with plans of slashing the crap out of those suckers.

I need to get a sheath made for the waki, as I have some tree delimbing I want to do, but those limbs are about 15 feet off the ground, and I'm not comfortable climing a tree with a sword in a cardboard sleeve.

just got back from annual garlic festival in gilroy, such good garlic fries!
Mmmmmmmmm, garlic.
Good times, great food, bad breath.
I'm sorry I missed it.
There's a BIG annual food festival here in the springtime. Waiting for that one to roll around again.

Or a rat mastiff with res-c would work too, same idea...

Wouldn't that be a Battle Rat?

Different blade shape - the rat mastiff is more like a drop point tip, while the battle rat is more like a bowie style clip point. I dig the drop point that they put on the ergos and the mastiff.

No, that's the RatMastiff chopper. The original RM is just like the CT, RW, etc. Kind of like the difference between the Ratweiler & Chopweiler:

horndog has posted threads demonstrating that a panga machete or bolo machete will beat just about anything in chopping performance.

I did a huge chop-off last year over on Wilderness & Survival Forum. A 14" Condor PR machete beat every chopper I had out for the chop-off, including my FFBM. Since the Puerto Rican machete was bacically a short Panga, I went back to the house and got my well-used Cold Steel 16" Panga with convex edge. It out chopped every knife I have, including some big kukris. People who believe that thin blades can't chop hard wood (this was hard maple) are just wrong. I love big choppers as much as anyone, and I was surprised, but machetes are awesome choppers.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
