I think some folks who went for Marco Bolos thought they'd be bigger (based on the higher than FBM price, I would have). I don't much care for recurves to begin with. I simply don't value a curved blade as much as a comparably sized straight one, so I don't see myself ever buying a BC khuk, let alone one of those Marco Bolos. I do own a plethora of HI Khukris, but they're best-of-breed very heavy-duty traditionally manufactured khukris (using truck leaf springs as their steel source); even so, I wouldn't say that they're "better" than the 'zilla (except for price), but I've used one to clear broken branches of several inches diameter after two big storms, and it's stood up to my heaviest abuse.

Me too. As long as they are not released during the weekday, I will be sitting and waiting for the GO! GO! GO!

Well, as long as there is some kind of heads up. I am not going to sit at home and wait...;)

I hope the heads up allows the JYD's to get their number. Will have to wait and see.

I think we have about 2 weeks before we have can snag the S5LE.

I really do hope it's going to be at least 2 weeks. I'm still trying to recover from stuff I haven't paid for yet.

Today having a Mikkeller Monk's Brew, pretty tasty, not too hot, since Mikkeller is know for it, but lately have not been dissappointed. Still got a couple of other's from them.

You guys should see some of the crazy stuff I'm getting offered in trade for the waki... it's sort of overwhelming trying to decide which trades are good and which aren't, with my lack of knowledge of Bussekin stuff.

I've been offered some really gorgeous, not terribly common, safe queens, and not a single user so far.

What I really want is a user bm-e or uncle mofo, but I somehow doubt I'll get so lucky

is it in the trade section or the sale section? do they have an exclusively busse trade section?

haven't touched BF in a while.

They don't have a busse specific trade section. I listed mine for sale at a price I know no one will pay, and then also put in big bold letters that I'm very interested in trades.

If you're into the safe queens, you could score some very neat stuff on your trade - I just want a big ole beater, that's not crazy thick like the FFBM

Never had one, but I've used one - great value in a chopper, that's for sure!

I still say one of my best choppers is the lowly $50 kabar heavy bowie. That thing outchopped several knives that cost multiple benjamins
