Yea I am excited about seeing it and since Peter Jackson is the director it should be great. I have not been impressed with to many movies the past few years or so.

I've wanted this SOG Stingray 2 for a while now but I can't get myself to pay the $$ for it. Do any of you have one or have any SOG folders that you can comment on?

What do you think of the knife?

* Steel: San Mai (VG-10 Core Laminated with 420J2 Stainless)
* Handle: Stainless w/ Mother of Pearl Inlay
* Finish: Satin

The Arc-Lock™
The Arc-Lock just might be the perfect lock. Why? It is totally ambidextrous and has all of the attributes knife designers relentlessly search for, but rarely find.

Strength:
The Arc-Lock far surpasses conventional lock strength, tested at over 1000 lbs of force measured at the lock in an independent lab test.

Speed:
The Arc-Lock provides lightning-quick, one-handed opening and closing capability.

I bought my brother a SOG Kilowatt since he's a electrician and he has used it for about a year and it has held up well. I used to have a Flash II years ago and something about it I just didnt like I think it felt to fragile. Im sure the Stingray 2 would be great since it's a higher end model. VG-10 is great steel I had a Original Fallkniven A1 with VG-10 and it was tough and very easy to sharpen.

Sweet! I love the Military...I have the Carbon Fiber and S90V version of it and it's great. I don't carry or use it though cause it's rare and was limited production. But it is an awesome knife. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> The para is nice too...I have the foliage green G-10 and CPM D-2 version of that which is also limited. Both are great knives.

LGM that is a good looking blade. Could probably do without the ACU pattern but oh well.
