Woaw. I only use the Energizer myself, after reading stories like yours. Glad you're ok.
G'night FJ.

Wow, 1000 lumens! Crazy.
The EDC was bright enough for me and the battery life was insane. I was just trying to see what was possible in a SureFire 9z/Z3/C3, etc. I also have a Malkoff Triple in a Mag 3D that puts out some serious light. Like a wall of flood that has some throw. That one won't start any fires though. Here's a his 'n' hers set. One has a P7 (700+ lumens), the other a Terralux triple (500-600 lumens): ![[Linked Image from img.villagephotos.com]](http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2007-2/1243459/IMG_1138b.jpg)

What's good art?
I'm gettin ready to crash. I have work in the morning.
I need to get another nice torch... My tk40 is sweet, but bulky.
I just bought myself a nice Xikar lighter today, with a built in cigar punch.
Enjoy every sandwich.

Does the TK40 take *8* AA batteries? Yep, or you can just use 4, but you lose half the run-time.
Enjoy every sandwich.

That's a big light. It must be close to the size of a Mag 2D.

It makes a huge amount of light for its size.
