So, I think I want a Maxped Jumbo.
Thought I'd say it out loud. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

well... held them up in the sun light and the green waki is the user! muddy brown waki is just perfect. my moss green is thicker and the grind is a off some. wouldn't bother me at all to throw this sucker and do some stuff that will make me have to put a new edge on it.
i'll just keep the nice thin brown waki fresh for the zombies!!!

i've been using my maxpedition sitka for a little over a week now. i like it but i should've gone up to the larger kodiak. i'm thinking of either getting the kodiak or something else to use everyday and just loading the sitka full of gear to keep in the trunk.

You need to keep at least one 7" knife. For me, the 7" is the smallest "chop capable" knife that is still small enough to carry. Yes, 7" min for chopping.

I have a black colored Colossus for my EDC, but I think a khaki Jumbo would be great for little day hikes.

I have the Jumbo in foilage green. I would have rather had it in FDE, but since I traded 4 boxes of 9mm ammo for it I could not complain. Oh yeah, it was brand new when I got it too!

I live in a desert so the khaki color works well. Matches my PSK in the khaki FR-1.

Carry a M jumbo blk every day to work. Carries all my needs. And more. I'm sold.
Good trade

Didn't think I needed a water bottle holder for work, so the Colossus met my needs nicely. I just don't want to carry a black "man purse" on hikes. Tried it a few times and it's not easy to carry water with it, plus it doesn't seem to hold as much as the website would have you believe.
Last time I took it up the canyon it came home smelling like campfire. Not so fun to show up to work Monday smelling of smoke. So I'd like a dedicated outdoors bag.

thanks. all my amps are large and heavy and loud. mostly tube amps that have to be pushed hard to sound good.
this little guy is the opposite end of the spectrum. lightweight, small enough to pack on my motorcycle, all digital, and even runs on batteries if i need. won't stand up with a band, though.
