i know. i already have three of his guitars. i have the hardtail select, which dominates every les paul i've ever played, and it's the only reason i haven't already bought the soltero. they're quite similar.

my cousin's first guitar was a black bc rich virgin. chesswood body, maple neck, string through with tunomatic. it was terribly neck heavy and i thought that guitar sounded terrible. turned out to be his crappy little solid state ibanez amp.

eventually he got a USA kramer guitar. maple neck through alder body, seymour duncan jazz and jb pickups, original floyd rose tremolo in chrome, gotoh tuners. that guitar had it all.

i should go check on his parents.

The chesswood bodies make the guitars sound like junk.
Neck-through mahog. is the ONLY way to go.

I just scored a NIB Ibanez VBT-700 for $280.00. Neck through again. I can't believe noone ever bought it.

A USA Kramer with a Floyd Original is a nice score no matter what the price.

Anyone have any experience with Line 6 amps?

Was thinking about the Spider III 2-10 combo for recording since it has all of the modelling adjustments built in to it.

i put my hell razor up for sale. hopefully someone bites quick and if i'm lucky it'll cover all or most of the next mistress.

my main guitar is a japanese built ibanez RG. it was pretty amazing stock, but over the years i've swapped out the bridge pickup for a duncan custom SH5 and the neck is currently a black oxide rail pickup. had a gold PAF before that and the stock pickup before that.

i think the spider amps stink. vox valvetronix (i have two), roland cubes (i have the micro), and the fender champ XD amps (i want one) are awesome.
