favorite? jerry's made some pretty nice stuff. i don't think that thing comes close to an fbm.

the FBM is sweet,but i love the simplicity of the sar8. I dont know how else to explain it i just reslly like the design

I wanted an sar8 pretty bad,but i've been getting into making my own for a little while now,and i need the money to upgrade my grinder. So i figured for that price i could buy the griz grinder i need and a heck of alot of material and make some knives and dont tell anyone,but try my best to come close to the sar8 out of some 5160. I know what your thinking why 5160. My answer is cuz its cheap and it takes a heck of beating when tempered right. I only want to make one for mysellf and it probably wont even come close to the real deal.
