When most people say "HDR" they seem to usually mean tone mapping – often, to produce "grunge effects". In any case, I have experimented with both true high dynamic range imaging and tone mapping. Yes.

I like both actually. I think the over saturated surreal images are cool but i also like what good HDR can do for a photograph if done properly. I've tried with Photomatix a bit and got some decent results. I'm still trying to learn normal photography though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Both have their place. Both can be expressive tools in the photography toolbox. Both tend to be overused, because they are in fashion.

as a landscape i dont like fall....living in hawaii so long i dont know which season i like the best...

i have a friend thats doing high def holographics of glass art , its rather cool effect....
